QUEENS MUSEUM OF ART
QUEENS, NEW YORK

Originally built to house the New York Pavilion at the 1939 World’s Fair, the New York City building now houses the Queens Museum of Art. Playing to the building’s original logic, we renovated and expanded the structure to introduce natural light, improve circulation and integrate seven flexible art galleries. The redesign features a series of expansive skylights, encased by a gigantean glass chandelier-like enclosure and a new, interactive entrance to the West façade.
